How much progress do children make at Dunbury?

 

Children across the school are making good progress in all subjects. We define the minimum expected progress each year as 3 tracking points. Last year, on average, children achieved 3.4 points in Reading, 3.3 points in Writing and 3.6 points in Maths.

 

Teacher assessment for last year across the whole school shows all key groups making above the minimum expected progress, including those eligible for the Pupil Premium.

 

Good progress has resulted in increasing numbers of children now achieving Age Related Expectations (ARE). At the end of the academic year 2016-17, across the school, the percentage of children at ARE were: 75% in Reading, 69% in Writing and 73% in Maths.
