Yet another fabulous half term behind us. Thank you to all the parents that were able to come along to our Learning Outcome afternoon, we all had a wonderful time! I hope you enjoy the pictures!

1066/Flow Learning Outcome

Our super class trip to Moreton Ford where the children enjoyed mapping the profile of the river, measuring its speed, examining the wildlife and exploring the beautiful etchings of St. Nichola's church.

What a week!

We have had a fantasic week in Silver Birch. We all enjoyed our fantastic hook trip to Lulworth Cove where our guide, Alex, showed us the wonders of Stair Cove and Lulworth Cove, helped us re-enact the formation of the stunning Jurassic coastline and pointed out hidden fossils and dinosaur footprints. After lunch, we enjoyed creating beach art depicting some of the natural disasters we will be learning about during our 'Tremors!' topic. I would like to say another huge thank you to all of the wonderful parent helpers who joined us on the trip.

Also this week, we enjoyed examining and classifying the fantastic rocks sent to us by the National Geological society, leading us into the science element of our topic learning for this half term.
