Golden Willow

The Battle of the Century (or maybe just the lockdown period) is about to commence! A battle between the most mathematical of rockstars. A battle between the best Blandford schools of rock. Dunbury vs the World (or maybe just three other schools in Blandford!). Who will be crowned The School of Rock?

The battle commences at 09:00 hours on Monday 18th May and runs until 16:00 hours on Friday 6th June. Play in any game type on TTRS and the winning class will have the highest number of correct answers per pupil. This is about being accurate, not being fast! Only correct answers collected during 9am – 4pm count towards our score.

Dunbury vs the World? Dunbury, of course!

Hello Golden Willow class!

Hopefully you've all had a wonderful weekend in the sunshine, we've had lots of lambs born on the farm this weekend so it's been busy!

Some people have been asking for some extra activities so I have added some additional suggestions at the bottom of the learning task sheets.  As always there is no obligation to do all these activities, the priority should always be to try and have a go at the daily tasks of maths and English if you can.  And as always, if you need to take a step back for a day or two that is also OK.

For the maths we are now working on week 3 WC May 4th.  Remember to scroll down to the bottom of the page to choose this option.

This week's English is all about writing newspaper articles and you can access the work on the padlet as usual.

I will be adding readings from our class book Malamander throughout the week on Class Dojo.

Don't forget to go onto Times Table Rockstars to earn points for Dunbury (see above)!  If you've forgotten your password just message me and I can resend it for you.

I look forward to seeing all your amazing work.

Take care as always, and happy learning!

Mrs Duerdoth
