Welcome back everyone! You'll notice a difference here: because we now have some year groups in school, the learning is going to be organised by year group, not by class. Because some of the teachers are now in school, a different teacher might be with you here and on Dojo for the next few weeks. Some of you will be learning at home and some of you will be learning in school, but no matter where we are, remember:
You might have seen on the news that people in the US, UK and other countries are protesting. You might have heard of the "Black Lives Matter" movement. Perhaps you have questions about it - what is it? why is it important? what is going on? why are people angry?
Mrs Horwood has made a powerpoint presentation for you and there is also a newsletter and video that explain even more. It is always a good time to talk about racism and discrimination, and it is an especially good time right now. If you have questions, ask them. Your teachers would love to hear from you about this.

Oxford Owl have a large library of high-quality banded readers for children aged 4-11. Many of the books and the characters will be familiar to the children. They even have a quick reading test so you can be sure to get the correct level!
