NCETM Daily Maths Lesson

This week we are learning from Key stage 1  - Multiplication 2 and choose week 4

Select lesson videos - Multiplication 2  and then watch Lesson 3

 

Monday  -   Lesson 3 -   Redistributing from unequal to equal groups

Listen to and watch the presentation, you will need a selection of at least 12 identical objects (Lego, pasta, beads etc) four plates, paper and pens . There is a practice activity below for you to do after the lesson.   

 

Today we are learning from Key stage 1  - Multiplication 2  and choose week 5

Tuesday  -   Lesson 4 -  Consider the nature of ‘equal groups’ in more detail

Listen to and watch the presentation, you will need a selection of at least 12 identical objects (Lego, pasta, beads etc) six plates, paper and pens . There is a practice activity below for you to do after the lesson.   

 

Wednesday  -   Lesson 5 - Practice using the sentence: ‘There are __ groups of ___.

Listen to and watch the presentation, you will need 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p coins and tokens as well as pens and paper. There is a practice activity below for you to do after the lesson.  

 

Thursday  -   Lesson 6 -  The use of a repeated addition expression to represent equal groups

Listen to and watch the presentation, you will need a selection of at least 12 identical objects (Lego, pasta, beads etc) 1p, 2p, 5p and 10p coins and tokens paper and pens . There is a practice activity below for you to do after the lesson. 

 

Friday  -   Lesson 7 -  See a repeated addition expression first and then make groups to match​​​​​​​
