Welcome to Scots Pine - Year Five and Year Six
Welcome to Scots Pine's Home Learning for today!
(Thursday 2nd April)
I hope you all had a fantastic day yesterday. I managed to have a brilliant FaceTime call with my 2-year-old niece, who wanted to show me all her toys! I was thinking that we are so lucky to live in a time with such amazing technology, so that we get to see some of the people we love right now, even if it is via a screen. Have you been keeping in touch with loved ones via FaceTime or Zoom recently? I know they would have loved seeing and talking to you if you have.
I’m impressed, already, with the Alphabet challenge pictures I’ve received. Can’t wait to see some more!
Today, your writing challenge (instead of Pobble) is set out on the video posted on Dojo. This is the website that will be really useful to you: http://www.bbc.co.uk/schoolreport/27697544 and help you include all the features that you need to. If you want to film your writing, please do, but please do not feel this is necessary, just a lovely piece of writing would be great! You may wish to write it today and film it tomorrow – that’s absolutely fine too.
I’ve uploaded the Barvember challenges as well. Today’s writing task might take you a while, so please only do what you can!
I believe Rob Biddulph will release a new video today at 10am. Keep an eye on his site; you might want to have a go at his new creature, whatever that may be!
Take care and have fun :-)
