Starting School September 2024

This page is for parents with children starting in Reception in September 2024.

We are delighted that you are choosing to send your child to Dunbury Academy Primary School in September 2024.  The whole staffing team are looking forward to meeting with you so that we can start this wonderful educational journey together. 

We know from experience that children feel a range of emotions when confronted with the prospect of starting school. The programme we are putting together will be designed to support their transition in gradual steps, so that they become increasingly familiar with the adults in our school, and our setting. We promise that we will make the transition as smooth as possible for you and your children.
